Our nitrogen-rich house tea: a mineral-rich blend on a worm casting and compost base, blended in-house from our most premium amendments.
Veg Tea is built to carry plant health through the veg cycle. If plants still ask for nitrogen in early flower, it can follow them into transition. Once flowers set, switch to Bloom Tea.
What's inside
- A worm casting and compost base carrying naturally occurring minerals, microbes, and enzymes
- Rice hulls, oats, and roasted barley
- Light amounts of sea salt, azomite, dolomite, gypsum, wollastonite, alfalfa, kelp, oyster shell, humates, black lime, boron, biochar, rock phosphate, and bat guano
How to use
1/8 to 1 cup per gallon of water in a mesh sack. Brew and aerate at room temperature for 6 to 48 hours; how long depends on your brewing system, and a vortex brewer is what we recommend once you get serious. The solids also work as a top feed, before or after brewing. Watch your pH: the happy window is about 5.8 to 7.2.
Veg feed, molasses, microbes, humates, and fulvates can join the brew, but go lightly. Don't panic if it's organic, but no need to overfeed. The full walkthrough is in How to brew a plant tea, and the brewer itself is explained on the Brew Bench.
