Farm scale: 30, 50, and 60 gallon barrel brewers, the sizes our own beds drink from.
How it works
A barrel of the right size with a carboy fitted to the top. A pump in the bottom cycles water up to the carboy and back down, all brew long. When the brew is done, turn it off, take the top off, and pump it out or dip your watering can straight in.
Some teas like to brew for 24 hours; some only take a few minutes. The choice is yours in your gardening program.
What's in the box
Every brewer leaves the farm with basic instructions, a cleaning brush, hosing, a tea bag, and 2 lb each of our Veg and Bloom teas, so your first brew starts the day the box arrives. Shipping is priced at checkout from live UPS and USPS rates.
Which size?
3 to 6 gallons (air-lift) covers home gardens and serious container programs. 10 to 60 gallons (barrel) is market-garden and small-farm scale. For local farmers we also build 275-gallon tote brewers: ask.
New to brewing? The whole method, sock-and-bucket through vortex, is in How to brew a plant tea, and the brewer itself is explained on the Brew Bench.
